IDL's Research Focus

IDL strives for an inter-disciplinary and multi-methodological approach to investigate how effective communication can lead to the development, adoption, and diffusion of technologies, practices, and ideologies in smart communities. We hope to explore communication processes that bridge human organizing and emerging technologies through an application of the diffusion of innovations theory.
