Organizational Capacity and Capacity Building for Cyberinfrastructure Diffusion
This project qualitatively and quantitatively identifies the various dimensions that make up organizational capacity for cyberinfrastructure development, adoption, and diffusion. Treating cyberinfrastructure as a multi-dimension phenomenon, involving inter-related technologies, practices, and ideologies, this study generates capacity building strategies for cyberinfrastructure users, developers, and administrators to more effectively diffuse cyberinfrastructure. This project also developed two courses, “Diffusion of Innovations” (graduate level) and “Capacity Building in Organizations” (undergraduate level) as part of its education plan.
